Crypto platform Bybit announces the launch of an NFT marketplace

More about the launch of the NFT platform

Representatives of the cryptocurrency exchange Bybit announced plans to launch a platform for trading non-fungible tokens (NFT). The management of the site said that they want to provide their customers with access to digital art, the metaverse and the GameFi industry (a combination of blockchain games and decentralized finance).

According to Bybit employees, the new platform will be a marketplace where creators of digital collections and admirers of virtual artists can unite. The head of the exchange, Ben Zhou, emphasized that despite the skepticism of part of the community regarding NFT technology, it is undeniable that digital property rights will play an important role in the development of our world. He noted that the metaverse trend will be key this year and Bybit users cannot be left without access to this sector.

The entrepreneur emphasized that the Bybit NFT platform will have its own unique features. Users do not have to connect external wallets to the site interface. They will have the option to trade digital items directly from their spot accounts. Moreover, the new service will be cross-chain compatible and will allow the exchange of NFTs created on different blockchains without any problems. All trading tools will be understandable even for beginners who do not have experience working on exchanges.

The company also noted that it has entered into partnership agreements with Monster Galaxy, ONBD and Realy, whose collections of virtual art will be the first to appear on the new platform.

Earlier, the Crypto.ru editors reported that on January 19, 2022, Bybit integrated the possibility of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) transactions, which will greatly simplify the purchase and exchange of digital currencies for site customers. From now on, users of the service have the opportunity to exchange the stablecoin Tether (USDT) in a safe way, as well as avoid additional commissions for transactions.
