Ledger has announced the release of a limited edition Ledger Nano S Plus NFT hardware wallet.
A total of 10,000 wallets will be available for $79 each. To celebrate this release, the company is partnering with blockchain company Proof of Attendance Protocol, or POAP.
“Protecting and safeguarding the digital memories you can collect with the Ledger Nano S Plus is a must for anyone building their lifelong collection,” said Lucas Verra, CEO of POAP.
Benefits of buying an NFT wallet
When buying one of these wallets, the owner will receive a card that can be exchanged for NFT Genesis POAP. This token will allow you to prove the existence of this hardware wallet. In the future, POAP will also create special NFT draws for Ledger events.
“This partnership with POAP and the affordable launch of the Ledger Nano S Plus Genesis Edition marks recognition that digital assets will only grow as a tool for life experiences, and we want to connect millions of people to Web3 in a secure way.” – concluded the director of work with clients Ian Rogers.
The Ledger Nano S Plus is the first hardware wallet released by Ledger since the debut of the Ledger Nano X in 2019. The company claims to have sold over 4.5 million Ledger Nano hardware wallets and nearly 20% of the world’s digital assets are backed by Ledger devices. Nano S Plus supports all kinds of digital assets, from over 5500 coins to NFTs.
