NFT game developer Animoca to create a metaverse with a focus on K-pop

Blockchain game provider Animoca Brands and record label and production center Cube Entertainment have agreed to create a metaverse with a focus on the K-pop music genre.

The agreement involves the creation of multimedia NFTs associated with popular musicians promoted by Cube.

Tokens are based on images, including portraits and avatars of artists, as well as audio recordings, including full-length albums.

Animoca Brands is convinced that NFT “will provide true digital property rights and other benefits of blockchain for musicians and their fans.”

Recall that in October, Animoca Brands was valued at $ 2.2 billion after the close of the funding round for $ 65 million.

In September, the developer entered into a binding agreement to purchase a controlling stake in the Bondly NFT platform.
