The only NFT machine in the world

The guys at Neon came up with an unusual application for NFTs by installing an NFT vending machine in the financial district of New York, not far from Wall Street. This is the first and so far the only NFT device in the world.

The essence of the device is simple. He accepts credit or debit cards with dollar currency and gives a box with a code that you can then enter on the Neon website and receive NFT.

“Requiring no cryptocurrency, crypto wallet, or special knowledge, Neon has created the easiest and most affordable way to buy, sell, and trade NFTs in the real world,” Neon said in a press release.

Company representatives assure that such a separation of NFT from cryptocurrency can attract a large audience to the NFT world. All NFT tokens were created on Solana’s carbon-neutral blockchain:

“The founders and engineers of Neon chose the Solana blockchain with smart contract capabilities because it is the most energy efficient, uses proof-of-stake, and boasts a theoretical throughput of 65,000 transactions per second with almost zero fees.”

Whether the trading device offering NFT will find its popularity is not known. Many enthusiasts of the NFT world are skeptical about the device. But they appreciate Neon’s decision to create tokens on a more environmentally friendly blockchain.
